Shipping & Deliveries

Customer service hours We're a small operation, so here's what to expect: our team is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm NZT. Queries received outside these hours will be dealt with on the next business day. We reply to all enquiries within one business day.

Free shipping

  • New Zealand: free shipping on orders over $150
  • Australia: free shipping on orders over $200

Digital products Ebooks and digital guides are delivered instantly via email after purchase - no shipping required.

Physical products & baking equipment

Processing time: Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched.

Delivery time (NZ): Once dispatched, standard delivery within New Zealand typically takes 2–4 business days, depending on your location.

Tracking: A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched, so you can follow its journey.

Courier: We're currently finalising our standard courier partner - in the meantime, all orders are sent with tracking regardless of carrier used.

Shipping to Australia

Cost: Calculated at checkout based on your address.

Delivery time: Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for delivery, in addition to our standard processing time.

Tracking: A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched.

Customs & duties: Orders shipped to Australia may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or charges imposed by the Australian government on arrival. These charges are outside our control and are your responsibility. Please check with Australian customs (or the Australian Border Force) if you have questions.

Bulky or oversized items: Some baking equipment may not be available for shipping to Australia due to size or weight. We'll let you know before dispatch if this affects your order, and refund any excluded items.

Where we ship New Zealand and Australia for physical products. Digital products are available to customers worldwide.

Damaged or missing items If your order arrives damaged, or hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, get in touch with us at hello@thedoughshed.nz and we'll sort it out.
